3rd generation long pile carpets designed specifically for football. Constructed on either a dynamic or engineered base, Blakedown Sport and Play offer Edel ‘Nature' – designed to provide an artificial surface with a natural feel, whatever the weather. These top class products produce outstanding performance characteristics for football, coupled with the low resistance to turning and sliding, resulting in a safe surface. Partly sanded artificial grass

Sand-dressed LSR/NDR is manufactured by a ‘knit de knit' process, from a Low Sliding Resistance (LSR) yarn and has non-directional properties. This surface incorporates a small amount of sand to provide stability. Being well suited for football use, this versatile product can also be used for playing hockey.

Fully sanded pitches

Manufactured with a high class polyethylene yarn with Low Sliding Resistance (LSR). These new products minimise the risk of injury and enable easy manoeuvrability around the playing surface. Within the football product range, Blakedown offer a curly pile, which optimises both the ball bounce and speed, improving the characteristics of the football game. This addition to our range meets the ever increasing demands of the football market.
