Blakedown Sport & Play constructed the sports facilities for Old Swinford Hospital School in 2 phases.

Phase 1 entailed 3 fields made good into natural football pitches with ball stop fencing, which was 10m high adjacent to the railway. Landscaping works involving native planting were also carried out.

Phase 2 entailed 5 fields made good into football/rugby pitches, extensive earthworks, a gravel finished car park for 50 cars and the diversion of the public footpaths.
