The original site consisted of a pedestrianised walkway and a car park separated by a wall. The new works comprised of linking the two areas together by demolishing the brick wall, reducing the size of the existing car park and increase the pedestrian area.
The pedestrian walkway was formed with new kerb edgings and re-surfaced using a resin bound aggregate. New lighting has been installed along with bollards, railings, tree and shrub planting.
